Technical Analyst

We are looking for final-year students in the field of technology who want to make an impact on the energy system transformation through technology.

Biosolar develops energy storage solutions and solar power plants – currently in Finland. The projects are either owned (project financing through equity and debt) or sold as ready-to-build.

​

As an Analyst, you will work as part of the technology team, and your main responsibilities include:

• Understanding systems and developing processes (e.g., inverter and battery technology, power plant automation and optimization, and planning and permitting processes), and

• Operational implementation (collaboration with suppliers, subcontractors, designers, and authorities).

​

The role requires occasional travel domestically and internationally.

​

The job is full-time but flexible according to your needs.

​

Biosolar’s office is located in Etu-Töölö, and the work is primarily done at the office.

The most important criteria for success in this role are:

• A Master's degree in a technical field (e.g., Energy Technology, Industrial Engineering and Management, or Electrical Engineering)

• A proactive and curious attitude

• Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills

• A meticulous and analytical working style

• The ability to pick up the phone and solve issues

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Finnish and English

Job description:

• Continuous learning, absorbing information, and sharing insights with colleagues and stakeholders

• Producing materials to support decision-making

• Preparing planning materials

• Managing interactions with stakeholders (subcontractors and designers)

• Other routine administrative tasks. Everyone, from the CEO down, is responsible for day-to-day tasks.
